What can you DO with a degree in Philosophy? Anything!
- Philosophy is an excellent major for training your reading, writing and analytical skills. These skills are useful and valuable no matter what profession you go on to.
- Because Philosophy relates to so many other fields, we keep the number of required courses for the major relatively small. This allows students to take a broad range of courses in other fields or to pursue a double major or a minor in another subject.
- Graduate and professional schools like philosophy majors because they know that philosophy students pursue a rigorous course of studies.
- By combining study in philosophy with co-op, you can get practical experience that will give you greater flexibility after you graduate.
